Affirm is hiring a Staff Product Designer to lead AI-driven, agentic experiences and shape how customers interact with our products. You will craft proactive, conversational interfaces while partnering with product, engineering, data science, marketing, and research teams to define a scalable AI design roadmap.

You will balance near-term execution with long-term vision, ensuring trust, clarity, and exceptional visual craft across the Affirm ecosystem.

Qualifications

• AI/agentic design experience designing AI-driven interfaces.
• Proficiency in prototyping non-linear, multi-modal flows.
• Strong understanding of human-centered AI principles.
• Experience designing for high-stakes consumer financial products.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive AI/agentic design initiatives for Affirm’s consumer experience.
• Design proactive, conversational patterns beyond reactive commerce.
• Define the design language for future AI-driven interactions.
• Collaborate with product, eng, data science, marketing and research to drive innovation.
• Iterate quickly with an agile mindset and data-driven decisions.
