This position is fully on-site and is located in Jacksonville, FL. Focus day-to-day efforts towards the effective coordination of the production scheduling function and administers production schedule to support product demand ensuring timely delivery to customers of finished products. It also has responsibility for the effective coordination of the material planning and purchasing in support of production to ensure uninterrupted operation and timely delivery to customers of finished products. Interfaces with internal groups including plant production departments to ensure on time delivery of products. In addition, assists in identifying and correcting production issues due to capacity and new product launches and prepares production reports to monitor performance and make necessary adjustments to planned production schedules. Manages Master Data in applicable systems to ensure accurate execution of planning tasks. Detailed tasks include:
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required. Supply Chain / Logistics / Business Administration / Engineering / Operations or related discipline preferred. Experience: A minimum of 6 years of supply chain, operations, logistics or relevant experience is required. Previous experience working in a planning role in the Pharma / Medical Devices industry in capacity planning, finish goods and raw material buying/planning is preferred. Must be fully bilingual (English/Spanish, read, write, and speak) Must be a proficient user of MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Must be able to work with complex planning tools & have working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) Must be able to effectively present information to employees at all levels. Focuses on accuracy and attention to detail on assigned tasks. Green Belt Six Sigma Certification preferred.
