Job summary
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Staff Principal Electronics Engineer - Networks to join our San Diego (Rancho Bernardo) team. You will design, implement and optimize secure, scalable network infrastructures for the MQ-4C Triton program, leading TRL evaluations and cross-functional collaboration.
The role requires a DoD Secret clearance (Top Secret may follow), B.S. in a STEM field with 12+ years (or advanced degrees with fewer years), CCNA/CCNP-level certs, and experience with
Qualifications
- Must have a STEM degree and 12+ years experience OR a Master’s with 10+ years OR a PhD with 7+ years.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and support network infrastructure components (Routers/Switches/Firewalls)
- Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams and standards
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex network issues, support incidents response as needed
- Trade studies, documenting subsystem architectures, analyzing performance, and evaluating Technology Readiness Level (TRL)
- Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders to integrate network solutions
