Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• 8+ years of hands‑on experience in vehicle- or aircraft-level electrical power distribution systems and systems integration.
• Proficiency in electrical simulation and modeling software (e.g., LTspice, SIMPLIS, Multi‑Spice, or equivalent).
• Working knowledge of MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-810, and MIL-STD-1760.
• Experience conducting SWaP trade studies and FMEA at the vehicle or subsystem level.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own vehicle-level electrical power analyses, including ELA, Emergency Mode Analysis, Battery Sizing, Short-Circuit, and Bus Integrity.
• Shape the electrical architecture trade studies and technical power roadmap for current and future vehicle variants.
• Develop vehicle integration-level test plans, verification procedures, and validation criteria for power distribution systems.
• Ensure power system designs comply with MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-1760.
• Execute SWaP trade studies and FMEA to optimize performance and mission reliability.
• Perform circuit and power system modeling using LTspice, SIMPLIS, or Multi-Spice.
• Collaborate with Systems, Avionics, Flight Test, and Hardware teams to guide requirements and resolve challenges.
• Support ground and flight test campaigns by reviewing power telemetry data and diagnosing anomalies.
