Job summary

VulcanForms is hiring a Staff Project Manager for Digital Manufacturing in Harvard, MA. You will orchestrate a cross-disciplinary program spanning hardware, software, data pipelines, and shop-floor systems to enable scalable production and rigorous data traceability.

You will drive objective milestones, manage multi-track plans, and align IT, Quality, and Operations with engineering teams while ensuring governance, risk mitigation, and a smooth transition of new digital tools into daily

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive program/project management experience in advanced manufacturing or consumer electronics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing data systems, SCADA/MES integration, and data pipelines.
• Proven track record leading multi-million-dollar cross-functional engineering programs.
• Experience with stage-gate, Agile/Scrum, and tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Define scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables for a high-volume consumer tech Digital Manufacturing program.
• Develop integrated project plans covering hardware/software interfaces, data infrastructure, and analytics.
• Map resources and dependencies to meet timelines and business milestones.
• Coordinate interfaces between equipment, inspection systems, data pipelines, and IT/Quality/Operations software.
• Lead cross-functional teams across NPI, Digital Engineering, Controls Engineering, IT, Operations, and Quality.
• Ensure smooth transition of digital tools and data architectures into daily production with clear ownership and SLAs.
• Identify risks, gaps, and bottlenecks; drive mitigation and executive escalations.
• Establish program reviews and deliver data-driven status updates to leadership.
• Document decisions, specs, interfaces, and deliverables thoroughly.
