Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. in Massachusetts seeks a Manufacturing Equipment Development Engineer, Consumer Technology, to lead deployment, commissioning, and qualification of industrial hardware for our consumer tech line.

You will own equipment selection, integration, and collaboration with Facilities, EHS, Quality, and Process Engineering to support 24/7 production. You will drive equipment performance, reliability, and throughput while coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure scalable and

Qualifications

2+ years of experience deploying complex equipment in manufacturing.
Experience executing IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and mechanical troubleshooting.
Hands-on with two major industrial equipment categories (e.g., CNC/EDM, vacuum/thermal systems, robotics).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Robotics Engineering.
Strong project management and vendor-communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end deployment, site integration, and qualification of manufacturing equipment (IQ/OQ/SAT).
Lead equipment selection and procurement to meet throughput requirements.
Interface with vendors and OEMs for installation and troubleshooting.
Define and monitor equipment performance metrics to improve OEE and uptime.
Create SOPs, PM schedules, and facility integration logs; train staff.
