GE Aerospace is seeking a Staff Infrastructure & Platform Engineer in the United States to hands-on build and operate the paved road for platform capability. You will enable product teams with reliable pipelines, shared services, and environments, while adhering to standards and practicing dependable day-to-day operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, on-call responsiveness, and contributing to documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 4 years of professional experience OR Associate's degree with 7 years OR High School Diploma with 9 years of professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Infrastructure & Platform Engineering or IT.
• Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain features of the golden-path pipeline, shared services, and environments.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code for provisioning and environment management.
• Participate in monitoring, alerting, and the on-call rotation; respond to incidents and support post-incident problem solving.
• Help product teams onboarding to the paved road and maintain the technical documentation they build against.
• Build to the architecture and platform standards set above the role, raising gaps with a proposed pattern rather than a local workaround.
