Job summary

Rippling, based in San Francisco, CA, seeks a senior software engineer to design and build the Spend Management platform. You will own architecture for real-time treasury and money movement, integrating cards, reimbursements, procurement, and billing with accounting and payroll systems.

You will lead and mentor engineers, tackle complex distributed systems, and drive initiatives across product leadership and engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Experience designing large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and drive technical solutions end-to-end.
• Domain knowledge in treasury or money movement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement platform solutions used by multiple teams.
• Lead architectural decisions and serve as liaison between product and engineering.
• Tackle complex engineering challenges and deliver robust, scalable features.
• Own projects from scope through delivery and mentor Spend Management engineers.
• Contribute to ongoing development of Rippling’s Spend Management product.
