AlphaSense is seeking a highly senior Staff Engineer to own and evolve its identity, authentication, and user management platforms at scale. You will shape architecture, drive secure-by-design implementations, and collaborate with a Helsinki-based team while coordinating with North America functions.

You will design and implement RBAC/ABAC/ReBAC authorization, authentication patterns (including Auth0), and provisioning workflows, ensuring security and reliability across a growing customer base

Formación

• Experience building and operating identity, authentication, or authorization platforms at scale.
• Platform/product-platform engineering context is a plus.
• Able to work autonomously with a Helsinki-based team and collaborate with North America counterparts.
• Security by design mindset with SOC2 and GDPR awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and evolve authorization platform (RBAC/ABAC/ReBAC).
• Design, build, and evolve authentication platform (Auth0 integration).
• Design, build, and evolve user management platform (provisioning and entitlements).
• Partner with security teams to ensure SOC2 and GDPR compliance.
• Build scalable systems to support growing users and customers.
• Define long-term roadmap across authentication, authorization, and user management.
• Build self-service APIs (GraphQL, gRPC, REST).
• Drive projects autonomously from North America with Helsinki alignment.
• Champion testing, observability, and reliability practices.
