Job summary

Ordergroove is seeking a product-minded Staff Software Engineer to define success by business outcomes. You will own foundational platform capabilities end-to-end and help shape modern platform engineering in an AI-first company.

As a systems thinker, you will build high-leverage primitives, with a focus on democratizing access for internal teams, partners, and merchants. You will work across distributed systems, APIs, and DevX to empower scale and innovation.

Qualifications

Product-minded software engineer with a systems focus.
Proven ability to design robust, high-scale APIs and backend services.
Experience with distributed systems and modern platform engineering.
Strong emphasis on developer experience and customer impact.
Familiarity with Python, Go, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Build next-gen APIs, SDKs, and MCP servers for human engineers and AI agents.
Architect and evolve core platform systems including identity and order processing.
Design for high availability, low latency in a multi-tenant environment.
Own full lifecycle of services from design to production and operations.
Develop DevX tooling to accelerate internal product engineering.
