Job summary

Georgetown-Scott County Planning Commission is seeking a professional planner (I, II, or III DOE) to perform a variety of administrative and technical work in current and long-range planning. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in planning, public administration, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum one year of professional planning experience, including internships.
• A Master’s degree may be substituted for the experience requirement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research, analysis, plan/report preparation related to current and long-range planning.
• Work with committees and the public in a supportive role to the Director of Development Services.
• Serve as staff planner for Boards & Commissions as assigned by the Director.
• May perform limited supervisory work as a senior planner.
