AltaMed Health Services Corporation is seeking a Staff Physician, OB/GYN (per diem) in Huntington Park, CA. You will provide obstetric and gynecologic care within a team-based care model and collaborate with the clinic team to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires a US-accredited medical degree, OB/GYN residency, CA license (board certified or eligible with plan to certify within 30 months) and a minimum BLS. EMR experience is preferred and compensation is hourly in a per diem arrangement.

Delivers care and services aligned with AltaMed’s Team-Based Care Model focused on population health, evidence-based medicine, appropriate resource use, and integrated delivery of care. Leverages AltaMed’s Team-Based Care Model to ensure all members of the clinic team are practicing at the highest scope of practice. Participates as an active, engaged member of the AltaMed Provider group, including sharing responsibilities in the care of patients, cross-coverage, peer review, provider meetings, CME, and advancing AltaMed as a provider-led organization. Responsible for a clinic panel (empaneled against the clinic), including health outcomes, patient experience, and overall patient care (both internal and external). Reports to the Site Medical Director with strong collaboration and oversight by the head of Women’s Health and the Regional Medical Director.**Minimum Requirements*** Requirements include experience and training as a physician, having completed a US-accredited medical school degree, and a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology or its equivalent.* Valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of California and Board certification required or Board Eligible, with the expectation to become board certified within 30 months of employment* Previous experience with computer-based systems is required; Electronic Medical Records experience is preferred.* A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.**Compensation**$163.16 - $195.79 hourly**Compensation Disclaimer**Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
