PACS is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist in Escondido, CA. The role evaluates residents, creates and updates treatment plans, and guides a care team to improve mobility and independence.

The position requires licensure as a Physical Therapist, strong documentation skills, and the ability to educate patients and families. A Masters/ Doctorate is preferred and CPR may be required by licensure.

Formación

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; Master/Doctorate preferred.
• CPR certification, if required by licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate residents to determine PT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility.
• Supervise PT assistants, aides, and students in resident care.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and team members.
• Complete timely, compliant documentation in medical records.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise and fall prevention.
• Facilitate ordering of durable medical equipment as needed.
