Job summary

CVS Health in New York is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead day-to-day operations, ensure safe dispensing and immunization services, and coach the pharmacy team to uphold patient care standards.

You will assist the Pharmacy Manager, manage workflow, and maintain compliance with state regulations while delivering compassionate, patient-centered service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Overseeing the pharmacy as a proxy during bench shifts and coaching the team to improve performance.
• Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and following pharmacy workflow procedures.
