Job summary

CVS Health in New York Town of Queensbury is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead patient care at our retail pharmacy. You will ensure safe dispensing, provide counseling, immunizations, and collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to drive service excellence.

You will supervise pharmacy operations during shifts, coach team members, and maintain compliance with state regulations while delivering compassionate care to patients and their families in the community.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on a task and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide compassionate patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Assist with immunizations and vaccine administration when permissible.
• Oversee pharmacy operations and coaching of staff during shifts.
• Maintain compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS policies.
