CVS Health is seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing, and deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced retail setting. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, oversee daily duties, and engage with patients to promote safe medication use.

You will contribute to immunization services, insurance coordination, and adherence to state laws, while maintaining high standards for safety, accuracy, and teamwork across the pharmacy staff.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsabilités

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required trainings within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on tasks over extended periods and pivot quickly when needed.
• Verify prescription information and ensure label accuracy for patient safety.
• Act as a pharmacy team lead when Pharmacy Manager is unavailable.
• Safely dispense medications and manage the pharmacy workflow with safety guardrails.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and resolve insurance/medication issues.
• Administer immunizations and coach technicians to immunize.
• Assist with inventory management, protect cold chain products, and maintain compliance with state regulations.
• Support scheduling and maintain a safe, inclusive workplace.
