Job summary

VytlOne operates a health center-based pharmacy in Cuba, NM, seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join a collaborative care team. The role emphasizes patient counseling, accurate dispensing, and direct interaction with physicians to optimize medication therapy.

The successful candidate will supervise technicians, maintain records, and participate in inventory and quality programs within a supportive, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy with license to practice in NM.
• Experience in fast-paced retail pharmacy and patient counseling required.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill drug orders accurately.
• Provide patient information and counseling on medications.
• Consult with physicians regarding prescription questions or irregularities.
• Dispense prescriptions and prepare IV admixtures if applicable.
• Monitor therapy for interactions, allergies and contraindications.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and maintain records.
