Job summary

VytlOne in Pecos, NM is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join the Pecos Valley Medical Center pharmacy team. You will interpret and fill orders, provide patient counseling, and collaborate with doctors and nurses to optimize patient care.

This on-site role requires NM pharmacist license, PharmD preferred, and retail pharmacy experience. You will lead technicians, manage inventory, and participate in ongoing quality improvement while delivering compassionate service to the community.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD is preferred.
• Current New Mexico Pharmacist license.
• Experience in a fast-paced retail pharmacy.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill drug orders and counsel patients.
• Collaborate with physicians on prescriptions.
• Dispense and compound medications and prepare IV admixtures if applicable.
• Monitor for interactions, allergies, and appropriateness; maintain records.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and manage inventory.
