Job summary

Qualifications

• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
• Overseeing the pharmacy as a proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts and coaching the team to improve performance
• Assumes Pharmacy Manager’s day‑to‑day duties when serving as the primary pharmacist on duty
• Supporting safe prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and protecting patient safety
• Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and coordinating with the patient’s healthcare team
• Offering and delivering immunizations and supporting technicians to immunize
• Managing inventory with focus on cold chain products and compliance with regulations
• Ensuring operations comply with state Board of Pharmacy requirements and escalating issues as needed
• Maintaining scheduling flexibility and contributing to a safe, inclusive team dynamic
• Maintaining clinical and technical skills through trainings and CMEs
• Supporting access to care with pharmacist-delivered clinical care where permissible
• Ensuring compliance with federal/state laws and CVS Health policies
