Lewis Drug Stores is seeking a Staff Pharmacist with a graduate degree in pharmacy and a current pharmacist license. The role involves dispensing medications in a retail pharmacy, delivering outstanding patient service, maintaining compliance with laws, and supporting store operations under the supervision of the Chief Pharmacist.

Candidates should be capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, work well with healthcare providers, and uphold Lewis Drug standards across all duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in pharmacy and pharmacist license required.
• Current license from state Board of Pharmacy(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service to patients in the pharmacy and store.
• Learn Lewis Drug policies and procedures and perform them daily.
• Establish and maintain relationships with physicians and healthcare providers.
• Dispense prescribed medications according to professional standards and practices.
• Maintain productive workflow in the pharmacy when Chief Pharmacist is not on duty.
• Authorize and approve associate purchases in the pharmacy.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
• Promote Lewis initiatives and represent Lewis positively to patients and communities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Pharmacist.
