Job summary

Quality Food Center (QFC) is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. You will fill prescriptions with accuracy, counsel patients, and administer vaccines, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and all regulations.

You will maintain professional standards, build knowledge of the local market, and collaborate with associates and vendors to deliver high-quality service. This role emphasizes integrity, reliability, and customer care.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree and licensure in good standing.
• Effective oral/written communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• 1 year of retail experience
• Second language preferred

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers’ prescription needs while concentrating on the accuracy of every prescription filled.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with all local, state and federal laws (including HIPAA).
• Maintain a professional image through appearance, conduct and attitude and the physical condition of the pharmacy; adhere to standards.
• Achieve thorough knowledge of the trade area, its customers and competition.
• Create a positive pharmacy department image through service and cooperation with customers and vendors.
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory levels, and budgeting per company policy.
