Job summary

Quality Food Center in Seattle seeks a licensed Pharmacist to ensure safe dispensing, provide patient counseling and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

You will manage RX orders, operate RX computer systems, participate in immunizations, and collaborate with prescribers. This role may involve working at multiple store locations within Washington and offers competitive pay and benefits as part of The Kroger family.

Qualifications

• Possess a current Pharmacist license in the state where employment is sought, with no stipulations or Board ordered restrictions.
• Graduate of a US School of Pharmacy or have passed a foreign equivalency exam.
• Successfully passed the NAPLEX exam.
• Ability to work at various locations.
• Ability to travel independently.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions about products
• Communicate effectively with customers and store personnel
• Provide drug counseling with customers and prescribers
• Receive, fill, and verify RX orders in compliance with state and federal laws
• Maintain accurate RX records and inventory, including controlled substances
• Demonstrate ability to use RX computer systems
• Supervise associates when needed
• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards
