Job summary

Fred Meyer, Inc. is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy team in Washington. You will fulfill prescriptions, counsel patients, and help administer vaccines while maintaining compliance with all laws and company policies.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on accuracy, safety, and customer service, with responsibilities including inventory control and maintaining a clean, professional space for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing.
• Effective oral/written communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Retail pharmacy experience is desirable (1 year).
• Second language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs while concentrating on accuracy.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with all local, state and federal laws (including HIPAA).
• Maintain proper records and inventory of scheduled drugs.
• Maintain a clean, professional pharmacy environment.
