Job summary

Qualify Food Centers (QFC) is seeking a pharmacy technician in Washington state to support pharmacists, dispense medications, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering a stellar customer experience. You will assist in reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age and able to handle confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain current national/state registration, certification or license.
• Assist pharmacist with responsibilities not requiring professional judgement.
• Provide excellent customer experience with reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing.
• Assist coaching and training of clerks and technicians.
• Compound medications per state regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription data.
• Support non-dispensing services via platforms and apps.
• Conduct CLIA-waived screenings in line with laws and policies.
• Provide health and wellness services as allowed by regulators.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety regulations and report issues.
