$106,604.71 - $170,567.54 Pharmacy Outpatient Retail DepartmentPOSITION SUMMARY:
The Pharmacist is responsible for providing a full range of pharmaceutical care services. Working as part of the patient care team, the pharmacist contributes unique expertise in medication safety, therapeutics, education and medication preparation. The Pharmacist reports to the Pharmacy Supervisors and Directors. The work schedule is determined by the Pharmacy Supervisors and Directors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION, LICENSURE, REGISTRATION AND/OR CERTIFICATION
REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. or Pharm.D. in pharmacy from ACPE accredited school.
Current NYS Pharmacy License.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in health system pharmacy practice preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Ability to comprehend complex verbal and written materials.
Ability to communicate complex ideas and materials both verbally and in writing.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to perform standard and complex pharmaceutical calculations.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to: independently organize work to meet established guidelines,
gather data from appropriate resources.
