Job summary

Big Sky Specialty Compounding in Kalispell, Montana is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead our non-sterile compounding operations. This hands-on role emphasizes high-quality, customized medications and collaborative care.

You will oversee technicians, ensure USP standards, QA programs, and safety protocols while partnering with clinicians, providers, and patients to optimize therapy outcomes. The position offers a stable schedule and a mission-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technicians and assist in preparing non-sterile compounded medications.
• Ensure compliance with USP <795> and USP <800> standards.
• Monitor QA programs, training, documentation, audits, and equipment upkeep.
• Maintain safety protocols, including PPE use and hazardous drug handling.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
• Support technicians and staff for optimal workflow and continuous improvement.
• Partner with clinicians, providers, and patients to support medication therapy outcomes.
• Troubleshoot, innovate, and think creatively to deliver compounding solutions.
