Job summary

Big Sky Specialty Compounding in Kalispell, Montana seeks a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to oversee non-sterile compounding operations and collaborate with clinicians, providers, and patients to optimize medication therapy outcomes.

PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited institution, Montana license preferred, strong communication and multitasking abilities, and a collaborative, safety-driven approach are required.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technicians and participate in preparing high-quality non-sterile compounded medications.
• Adhere strictly to USP <795> and USP <800> standards.
• Monitor QA programs, training, documentation, audits, and equipment upkeep.
• Maintain strong safety protocols, including PPE use and hazardous drug handling.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
• Support technicians and staff for optimal workflow and continuous improvement.
• Partner with clinicians, providers, and patients to support exceptional medication therapy outcomes.
• Troubleshoot, innovate, and deliver outstanding compounding solutions.
