Amazon is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and patient consultations in Elmwood, LA. You will oversee end-to-end prescription fulfillment, maintain regulatory compliance, and collaborate with technicians to deliver efficient service.

The role requires a PharmD or PharmD degree, an active license, and strong attention to detail. Evening shifts Wednesday through Saturday, 10-hour days, are part of the schedule, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or PharmD/Pharmacy degree required.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations for patient care.
• Proficiency with basic computer functions and pharmacy systems.
• Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of employment.

Responsabilités

• Perform clinical data review, prescription verification, and virtual patient consultations per regulations.
• Manage end-to-end prescription fulfillment, dispensing via automated systems and manual fill.
• Package and prepare prescriptions for shipment, including refrigerated/bulk items.
• Maintain quality standards and safety protocols while meeting CPT targets.
• Split time between verification and fulfillment based on operations and volume.
• Conduct DUR and document accurately in pharmacy systems.
• Monitor, receive, and manage pharmacy inventory compliantly.
• Collaborate with technicians and pharmacists to maintain workflow.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and adapt to changing priorities.
