Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing, immunizations, and patient counseling in a fast-paced retail setting. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, coach team members, and uphold regulatory standards to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires active pharmacy licensure in the state, an active NPI, and compliance with DEA regulations. Regular weekend work and ongoing CME participation are expected as part of a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
Complete required training within designated timeframe.
Concentrate on tasks over time and pivot as needed to meet patient and business needs.
Provide patient-focused service with a friendly, team-oriented approach.
Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues; listen actively and respond appropriately.
Use math to determine pills, days supply, and package quantities for prescriptions.
Identify and resolve patient or colleague issues effectively.
Maintain mobility and safety throughout shifts, including proper lifting and handling.
