Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Texas is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead safe dispensing, patient counseling and immunizations across our store pharmacy.

You will support the Pharmacy Manager, coach team members, ensure compliance with state regulations, and help resolve insurance and medication issues to improve patient outcomes.

This full-time, on-site role requires an active pharmacist license, NPI, and ability to work nights/weekends as needed, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in the state/store location.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Assist in safe dispensing, counseling and immunization practices.
• Oversee pharmacy during bench shifts and coach staff as proxy for Pharmacy Manager.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS policies.
• Support inventory management with focus on cold chain and accuracy.
• Resolve insurance/medication issues to improve patient experiences.
