CVS Health in New York State is hiring a Staff Pharmacist to lead and support the pharmacy team, ensuring safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations while maintaining regulatory compliance. You will step in for the Pharmacy Manager when needed, coach teammates, and uphold safety and quality standards in patient care.

The role emphasizes empathy, clinical care delivery, collaboration with the health team, and ongoing professional development within a fast-paced retail setting.

Competenze

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Mansioni

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling and immunizing practices.
• Oversee the pharmacy as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during shifts, coaching and following up on team performance.
• Assumes day‑to‑day duties when serving as the primary pharmacist‑on‑duty.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and coaching the team to do the same.
• Proactively offer and deliver immunizations and support technicians in learning to immunize.
• Help manage inventory with focus on cold chain and safety, and ensure regulatory compliance.
