Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist in our retail stores to deliver compassionate patient care, supervise the pharmacy team, and support the Pharmacy Manager in leading operations and ensuring compliance.

You will dispense safely, counsel patients, immunize where permitted, manage workflow, and collaborate with the broader care team to improve outcomes while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and a welcoming pharmacy environment for customers.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license active in the state of operation.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) is required.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Verify prescription information and labeling for patient safety.
• Counsel patients and provide immunizations where permitted.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and oversee pharmacy operations during shifts.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain compliance and accuracy.
