Job summary

St. Marys Medical Center Hospital is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care, oversight and dispensing in a hospital setting in West Palm Beach, FL. The role requires, at minimum, a Pharm.D.

or BS in Pharmacy with Florida licensure and hospital experience preferred. BLS is required within 30 days of hire, with ACLS/PALS for codes as applicable. Responsibilities include reviewing medication therapies, verifying orders, preparing and dispensing medications, and ensuring

Qualifications

• Pharm. D. or BS in Pharmacy required.
• PGY-1 residency or at least 3 years of equivalent experience with BCPS.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Current registered pharmacist license in the State of Florida.
• BLS within 30 days of hire; ACLS/PALS if code attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor patient's medication therapy for safety and efficacy; advise care team and document interventions.
• Order verification and medication profile reviews for duplicates, interactions, allergies, dosing and frequency.
• Prepare, label, and dispense medications per physician prescriptions; ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate problem solving, intervention, evaluation, and leadership in pharmacy operations.
