Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care, oversee medication therapy, and support the patient care team during night shifts. The role includes dispensing medications, documenting interventions, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements include a Pharm. D. or BS in Pharmacy and a current Florida license; BLS is required within 30 days with ACLS/PALS if needed.

Qualifications

• Pharm. D. or BS in Pharmacy required.
• Current Florida pharmacist license.
• BLS within 30 days of hire; ACLS/PALS if code attendance required (preferred: BCPS, CGP).

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor patient's medication therapy and orders for safety and efficacy; advise care team and document interventions.
• Prepare, label, and dispense medications per prescriptions; ensure compliance with Federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate leadership and support problem solving, intervention and evaluation.
