Job summary

St. Marys Medical Center in West Palm Beach seeks a Staff Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care, oversee medication therapy, and ensure safe dispensing in a hospital setting during night shifts. You will review therapy, advise the care team, and comply with all laws and regulations.

The role requires a Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy, a current Florida license, and BLS within 30 days. Hospital experience is preferred; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree required and licensure.
• Current Florida pharmacist license.
• BLS within 30 days of hire; ACLS/PALS if code attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor patient's medication therapy and orders for safety and efficacy.
• Provide drug information and oversight of dispensing systems.
• Verify orders and prepare, label, and dispense medications per prescriptions.
• Advise physicians on medication utilization and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain records and ensure adherence to Federal, State and local laws.
