Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care. You will oversee medication therapy, verify orders, prepare and dispense medications, and advise physicians on drug utilization within federal and state regulations.

Requirements include Pharm. D. or BS in Pharmacy and an active Florida pharmacist license; BLS within 30 days; hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree and licensure in Florida.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• BLS within 30 days of hire required; ACLS/PALS may be required for code attendance.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor patient's medication therapy for safety and efficacy.
• Verify orders and perform medication profile reviews for interactions and dosing.
• Prepare, label, and dispense medications per physicians' prescriptions; ensure record compliance.
• Provide drug information and oversee dispensing systems and processes.
