Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Staff Pharmacist to support dispensing, counseling and immunizations at a CVS Retail location. You will act as a pharmacy lead when the Pharmacy Manager is not present and coach the team to maintain high safety and service standards.

The role requires an active pharmacist license in the store's state, an active NPI, and compliance with all laws and CVS policies. The position includes a strong benefits package and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Oversee pharmacy operations as proxy during shifts when needed and provide feedback to the Pharmacy Manager.
• Show empathy and care to patients and coach the team to do the same.
• Immunize patients and mentor technicians to immunize where permissible.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS Health policies.
