Staff Pharmacist – Hospital

Location: Logan, OH

Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a full-time hospital opportunity in Logan, OH. This position is ideal for a pharmacist with strong inpatient experience and advanced EPIC proficiency who is comfortable working in a hospital pharmacy environment.

Assignment Details

Start Date: October 12, 2026
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Hours: Monday–Friday, coverage between 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
On-Call: Required after some weekday shifts
Weekend Coverage: Occasional Saturdays, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Setting: Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy

Requirements

• - Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
• - Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
• - Strong EPIC experience required
• - Ability to work independently and effectively within a hospital pharmacy team
• - Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• - Provide daily inpatient pharmacy services
• - Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
• - Support medication management for ED, infusion and orthopedic services
• - Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other members of the care team
• - Provide on-call pharmacy coverage as scheduled
• - Maintain compliance with hospital policies and applicable pharmacy regulations
• - Work closely with pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain efficient pharmacy operations
