RPh on the Go is seeking a Staff Pharmacist specializing in hospital inpatient care in Logan, OH for an 8+ week contract. The role involves 40 hours per week with Monday–Friday shifts (7:30 am–6:00 pm) and on-call duties after some shifts, plus occasional Saturday coverage.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verify and review medication orders for accuracy, dosing, allergies and interactions.
• Process orders within EPIC to ensure smooth workflow.
• Prepare and dispense medications for inpatient units, including IV and sterile compounding.
• Monitor high-risk medications (IVs, antibiotics, TPN, PCA).
• Provide clinical oversight on medication therapy and renal dosing.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication management.
• Manage automated dispensing cabinets and inventory.
• Perform medication reconciliation and ensure safety/regulatory compliance.
• Deliver antibiotic stewardship and anticoagulation monitoring.
• Supervise technicians and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

An opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist specializing in hospital inpatient care to support a dynamic healthcare team in Logan, OH. This contract role requires a commitment of 8+ weeks, starting on October 12, 2026, with a work schedule of 40 hours per week. Shifts are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, with on‑call responsibilities after some shifts and occasional Saturday hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

The facility utilizes the EPIC order entry system, demanding a highly skilled pharmacist proficient in its use. The inpatient pharmacy supports specialty areas including Emergency Department (ED), Infusion, and Orthopedics, with a staff comprising 3 pharmacy technicians/buyers and 3 PRN weekend pharmacists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and review medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, dosing, allergies, and drug interactions.
• Process orders within EPIC, ensuring seamless workflow.
• Prepare and dispense medications for inpatient units, including IV and sterile compounding as required.
