Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Staff Pharmacist for our Volunteer Behavioral Health clinic in Chattanooga, TN. The role focuses on dispensing medications, counseling patients, and immunizations as permitted by state boards, with a Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Currently licensed as a pharmacist in Tennessee.
• Available to work Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the Tennessee State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
