Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, operates a clinic-based pharmacy in Chattanooga, TN. The Staff Pharmacist will process prescriptions and provide medication-related information in a patient‑focused setting.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with a one-hour lunch. The role requires a Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy and an active Tennessee license, with competitive hourly pay based on experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
  • Current Tennessee pharmacist license required.
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with one-hour lunch.
  • Hourly pay range $44–$79 based on full-time employment.

Responsibilities

  • Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
  • Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
  • Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the Tennessee State Board of Pharmacy.

We seek a Staff Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions.


Pharmacy located in the following clinic: Volunteer Behavioral Health: 420 Bell Ave, Chattanooga, TN


Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with an hour lunch!


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
  • Provides information to customers about medications and their use
  • Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
  • Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
  • Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Current pharmacist license in state of Tennessee


Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from$44 - $79 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
