Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our Retail pharmacy team. You will deliver patient-centered care, ensure safe dispensing, counsel patients, and support immunization programs to keep communities healthy.

As the pharmacist-on-duty, you will lead the pharmacy team when the Pharmacy Manager is away, oversee workflow, maintain compliance with state boards and CVS policies, and collaborate with the broader care team to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and accurate dispensing and counseling to patients.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager and oversee the pharmacy during shifts.
• Support immunizations and patient care.
• Ensure compliance with state Board regulations.
• Maintain inventory including cold chain products.
