Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join the team on a 7on/7off night schedule. The role involves distribution, compounding, and clinical medication therapy management for diverse patient populations, with a rotation from Wednesday through Tuesday and shifts at 9pm–7:30am or 10pm–8:30am.
Required: Graduate from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy with a PharmD or higher and Georgia licensure on hire.

Required Hours: 10hr shifts with Wednesday through Tuesday rotation. Hours are 9pm-7:30am and 10pm-08:30am
Performs duties of distribution, documentation and compounding related to drugs, solutions and equipment to meet the needs of patients and staff. Responsible for the reviewing, compounding, dispensing and monitoring of medication therapy for infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients which includes dosing variations, nutritional needs and disease states associated with the various age groups. Supervises pharmacy technician activities including monitoring of all orders filled by auxiliary personnel. Assumes responsibility for competency and self-development in professional pharmacy practice. Performs patient focused care clinical activities throughout the hospital, to provide patients with optimal medication therapy.
