Job description

Helping Hand Pharmacy is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join our team at a leading mail-order diabetic supply company. Candidates must hold an active and unrestricted Texas Pharmacist License .

This position has a Monday-Friday 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. schedule, no evenings or weekends!!!

This role involves overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, dispensing diabetic supplies, verifying prescriptions, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) regulations and applicable federal laws
• Maintain pharmacy licensure and ensure adherence to regulatory standards by all pharmacy staff
• Oversee the procurement, storage, and dispensing of medications and supplies
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date pharmacy records, policies, and procedures
• Serve as the primary contact for pharmacy audits and inspections
• Hire, train, and supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Collaborate with prescribers, payors, and patients to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist License in the State of Texas (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail, clinical, or specialty pharmacy (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and regulatory knowledge

Work Environment:

• Standard business hours, with rare instances of extended hours
