Meta is seeking a Staff PCB Layout Engineer to drive the design and delivery of complex PCBs for large-scale infrastructure hardware. You will define layout architecture and establish standards for high-speed digital, power delivery, and SI-critical designs powering Meta's data center platforms.

You will partner with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to shape board-level design strategy from concept through mass production, ensuring reliability at scale.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of PCB layout experience for high-speed digital systems.
• Experience with boards using DDR, PCIe, SerDes.
• Ability to translate SI/PI results into layout decisions.

Aufgaben

• Define PCB layout architecture and floorplanning for complex boards.
• Establish design rules and constraints for high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, SerDes).
• Lead SI/PI analyses and drive layout decisions from simulations.
• Drive DFM reviews with CM/PCB fabricators to meet yield and cost targets.
• Define and maintain organization-wide PCB layout standards and templates.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers on packaging constraints and thermal management.
• Provide guidance to layout engineers across programs.
• Work with supply chain to evaluate alternate components and footprints.
• Lead post-layout verification (DRC, ERC) and pre-production bring-up.
