Job summary

Ripple is seeking a Staff Partner Engineer to lead complex, global payments solutions for financial institutions, businesses, governments and developers. You will partner with product and engineering to deliver new capabilities, shape requirements, and guide integrations across customers worldwide.

This role requires 10+ years in IT/software, deep knowledge of network principles and financial services networks, and hands-on production-grade code experience. Expect 20–30% travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT/software proven experience.
• Working in software solutions and delivery with major global organizations and industry groups.
• Ability to enable real-world, global use cases with new technologies and innovative thinking.
• A strong understanding of network principles and design, and an appreciation of financial services networks.
• Prior experience with institutional crypto custody solutions would be a significant advantage.
• Has a full understanding of the wider market dynamics, challenges, and technological advancements surrounding Ripple and its customers/partners to enable insightful problem solving.
• Excellent team-working and interpersonal skills, able to build trust and confidence among customers, suppliers, partners, and colleagues.
• Driving customer/partner software integration engagements as the “go-to” person/face of the organization.
• Proactive, able to lead others and generate energy and momentum.
• Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues at a network, database, and/or application.
• Hands on experience with software development (ideally writing production grade code).

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to bring new products and features to market and on collecting, refining, and prioritizing customer requirements.
• Handle enterprise-scale customers and partners independently.
• Serve as the functional and technical specialist to achieve the business objectives of both customers and partners and Ripple
• Drive the design, deployment, and successful usage of new solutions.
• Break down project objectives into manageable tasks and guide internal and external resources on execution and progress.
• Responsible for the entire delivery life cycle, from training, meetings, testing configurations, and launch support.
• Guide customers/partners to achieve maximum benefits from their implementation.
• Travel to customer and partner locations when work-related travel resumes (20-30%).
