Job summary

Responsibilities include direct clinical care, routine, contact lens and emergency services, preventative eye care, and supervision of student interns; requires Doctorate in Optometry, 2+ years experience, MA license, TPA

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Optometry required.
• At least two years of experience in clinical optometry.
• Massachusetts license required or eligible for license at hire.
• Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents (TPA) and Diagnostic Pharmaceutical Agents (DPA) certified.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical optometric care including routine, contact lens and emergency services for students, faculty, staff and dependents.
• Provides preventative eye care services and participates in Health Services education programs.
• Consults with parents, faculty and administrators regarding students’ eye care within confidentiality policies.
• Assists with supervision of student interns.
