Job summary

NATO Headquarters in Norfolk invites a Staff Officer in the Lessons Learned Branch to coordinate and manage Requirements for Lessons Learned Analysis, prepare for LL meetings, and help draft the JALLC Programme of Work. You will liaise with national and NATO analysis bodies to maintain coherence and timely outputs.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent, 3+ years in research management or analyst work at a strategic level, and strong communication in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 2 years of related experience, or equivalent professional qualification with 4 years post-related experience.
• At least 3 years experience in research management or similar field.
• At least 3 years experience as Analyst at strategic or pol-mil level.
• Experience in compilation and presentation in written and oral formats.
• Working knowledge of internet protocols, processes and database applications.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads coordination of Requirements for Lessons Learned Analysis.
• Review drafts of Analysis Reports per Bi-SC Directive.
• Staffs analyses from JALLC and other NATO/COEs.
• Assess and staff HQ SACT analyses from non-NATO entities.
• Staff and monitor implementation of recommendations.
• Collect Observations and Lessons Identified from LL process.
