Job summary

NATO - North Atlantic Treaty Organisation in Norfolk seeks a Staff Officer (Data Fusion Proj Mgr-Joint Ops Doc) to lead reviews of Allied Joint publications, principally Level 2 AJP-3 series, and to chair data fusion workshops. You will coordinate with SMEs across nations and COEs to harmonize doctrine revisions and ensure alignment with AJDA and NSO guidance.

The role requires a university degree and several years of policy development experience, with strong communication and analytical skills

Qualifications

• At least 4 years' experience in strategic or high-level policy development or review.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Proven experience in development and application of new concepts.

Responsibilities

• Conducts reviews and assessment for Allied Joint publications, focusing on Level 2 AJP-3 series.
• Chairs Data Fusion Workshops as required.
• Delivers documents per AAP-47 processes including RFQ/RFI questionnaires.
• Reports, Doctrine Proposals and draft Doctrine Tasks.
• Collects, archives and maintains data for future doctrine tasks.
• Supports analysis of emerging policies and lessons learned for doctrine development.
• Attend conferences and workshops to ensure document consistency with NATO policies.
• Harmonizes doctrine revisions across AJDA and coordinates with COEs and national centers.
• Coordinate with SMEs and doctrine custodians on review and maintenance.
