Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Staff NVH Integration Engineer to lead NVH development and integration across Rivian vehicle platforms in Southern California. You will define technical paths, manage workstreams, and ensure linkage between vehicle targets and sub-system performance under tight production timelines.

You will cascade targets, coordinate cross-functional NVH activities, monitor performance with a scorecard, and contribute to next-generation packaging and design decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of NVH attribute development and vehicle integration experience.
• Strong understanding of subjective NVH evaluation and objective metrics.
• Cross-functional collaboration across engineering functions with meticulous documentation.
• Proficiency with NVH instrumentation and data analysis software (LMS, HEAD Acoustics, CAE tools).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Acoustics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Target setting and cascading: establish NVH targets from vehicle to subsystems.
• Coordinate NVH workstreams from kickoff to serial production with cross-functional impact.
• Performance monitoring: maintain an NVH scorecard and track project health.
• Design integration: create NVH packaging guidelines for interior/exterior acoustics, damping, and sealing; ensure integration into next‑generation vehicles.
